Priego de Cordoba in the Sierra Subbetica of southern Spain - Where We Are:

Cortijo Marisevilla enjoys a lovely rural setting within walking distance of the attractive, well-serviced villages of Zagrilla Baja and Zagrilla Alta, and a short drive (or long walk!) from the beautiful and historic town of Priego de Cordoba. Roughly Half way between the World Heritage cities of Cordoba and Granada, we are here in the heart of rural Andalucia. This is the real Spain where you need a bit of Spanish to get by, and where you can enjoy the authentic rural Spanish experience within a short distance of the classic Andalucian cities. Spain's Mediterranean coastline is near enough to visit for the day but far enough away not to draw the crowds. There is a cultured air of refinement in the streets of Priego that contrasts with the wild magnificence of the Sierra Subbetica - one of Andalucia's outstanding Regional Parks.
